EIT team expands with two technical appointments
The EfficiencyIT team is delighted to welcome two new team members to the company, David Wright who joins as our newest Senior Data Centre Engineer and Steve Henson, as a Senior Data Centre Architect.
Steve Henson is warmly welcomed addition to the company. With over 30 years’ experience in enterprise and colocation data centre design and delivery, working with some of the most high-profile businesses within our sector. As an as Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer, he is perfectly placed to help customers gain a better understanding of practical application of Uptime Institute Tiers, overcoming complex design challenges and constraints to achieve Uptime Tier-certified, resilient data centre systems.
Steve has also worked with some of the largest and most-respected technology vendors in the industry, including APC™, Chloride Telecom Systems, Eaton, Power One Energy Systems, Schneider Electric and Vertiv, which has allowed him to build a great network of customers and peers. With expertise in mission-critical infrastructure systems, he is ready to help our growing customer base benefit from energy efficiency, power and infrastructure modernization programs, that reduce cost and carbon emissions.
With over twenty five years’ experience working in IT, engineering and estates management, David brings a wide array of skills and expertise to the company. His experience includes working with large corporates and enterprise organisations to deliver audio visual (AV), risk management, IT, network and cloud implementation strategies, and leading teams to deliver complex technical infrastructure projects.
His expertise spans the healthcare, education, media, retail and public sectors, David has worked with several prestigious organisations including MTV, Kensington Palace and a host of London Museums. As a Senior Data Centre Engineer, he will continue to deliver mission-critical infrastructure projects and support customer needs to mitigate risk and improve resilience.

Steve added: “Over the years I’ve built up an excellent network of contacts, across the sector, working with some of the best brands and minds in the business. I’m looking forward to collaborating with our customers, to working on a wide range of data centre, power and cooling projects, and to sharing my expertise.”
