We are incredibly pleased to share that EfficiencyIT was recently named as runner up in the ‘One to Watch Company’ category at the Network Computing Awards 2020.
As we approach the end of a whirlwind 12 months and after what has been a challenging year for all businesses and sectors, we are delighted to receive this recognition. Everything we do at EfficiencyIT is focused on adding value to customers, to offer support in overcoming key technology pain-points, and providing efficient, resilient data centre and IT solutions.
While this year has seen entire industries turned upside down, working methods reverted and technology called upon like never before, it’s important to recognise the growing importance of the data centre sector within the wider business community.
Our customers continue to provide the infrastructure that connects us, that keeps the world moving forward and this year the dependence on professionals within the sector has become even more paramount – especially with data centre professionals designated as key workers within the first peaks of the health crisis.
As we look forward to the months ahead, I believe that data centres will play an even more crucial role to the economy. They will be instrumental in the quest for NetZero, for more sustainable digital infrastructures and in supporting recent announcements to build back better. There is an onus on our sector to do things differently, not to settle for the status quo and to become more efficient – providing technology systems that push boundaries and challenge the mindset of what’s really achievable when it comes to energy efficiency – both to the benefit of the environment and to the end-users from an operational perspective.
Outside of the challenges experienced this year, 2020 has also been filled with highs for the EfficiencyIT team – we have developed new contracts and expanded our service offering, added to our ever-expanding team and are working on some extremely exciting projects (soon to be revealed).
So, as we approach the end of a year that will largely be remembered for all the challenges it has brought, we’re also remembering that the people that you work with – from customers, to team members to partners – are really what’s most important in business. Right now, we’re looking forward to the prospects and opportunities that 2021 will bring. We hope to see you along the journey with us.
Many thanks to the Network Computing Awards again for this title and to the entire EfficiencyIT team, our customers and our partners for the on-going support.
Nick Ewing, Managing Director, EfficiencyIT.
